Dear Race Participants, Survivors, Sponsors, Volunteers, Race Committee, Staff and Board of Directors,
The 2012 Race for the Cure was nothing short of Spectacular! A little rain couldn’t dampen spirits as over 10,250 participants showed up to support Susan G. Komen Inland Empire and our mission to end Breast Cancer forever.
The day was filled with love and support as families and friends gathered to honor those they have lost, and celebrate those who have survived or are in the midst of battle with Breast Cancer. As a survivor, I know that battle begins the minute you hear the words “You have Breast Cancer” and doesn’t stop until a Cure is found. So thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
On behalf of all of us at the Komen Inland Empire Affiliate, your efforts touched an entire community. Our Survivors were overwhelmed with emotion and the tears and smiles on their faces said it all. SO Thank you….thank you to our incredible Pink Honor Roll fundraisers, our fabulous Race Sponsors, our dedicated Race Committee, our wonderful Volunteers, our amazing staff & Board of Directors and of course our loyal Race Participants. Thank you to everyone who helped make this Race Day so wonderful and perfect for all!!
Warmest Regards,
Cindy Golden and the Komen Inland Empire Team
