Team Awards

The 2012 Susan G. Komen Inland Empire Race for the Cure® is all about TEAMS!

Our Race teams can change history—the history of breast cancer—by helping the Komen Inland Empire Race for the Cure reach record-breaking levels of Race participation and fundraising. A Race for the Cure team is a group of 10 or more participants who join together for the Race season to have fun and raise funds to empower the breast cancer movement.

Team awards help drive the friendly competition that makes each year better than the last! Numbers for awards are calculated for registrations and donations received by a specific date. Team members may continue to register up until October 19, 2012 and raise funds up until November 9, 2012. However, any registrations or funds collected after the cut-off dates will not be considered for award calculation purposes.

We recognize the following Team Award Categories:

• Largest Team in each division
• Top Fundraising Team, over and above registration fees, in each division
• Best Team T-shirt Design - Create your own T-shirts! Whatever you can think of. Your imagination is the limit! (for all teams 10 or more, please be sure to ask about using the official team insignia graphic! No Race for the Cure logos, please)

Team Spirit Award

This award will be given to the team who embraces the spirit of the day by being creative and expressive. Dress your team up! Show your spirit! Use your imagination!

Winning teams will be given a commemorative plaque.
