The promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for everyone and energizing science to find the cures. The Organization runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. Our Affiliate is proud to have sent $181,763 to the Organization for research in 2009. In addition to funding research, the Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment projects for the medically underserved in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. In 2011-2012, we funded $574,287 to local community programs. 

2011 Community Profile

We have two locations to serve the Inland Empire. Our main office is located in Temecula and through a generous donation, the Komen Inland Empire Breast Cancer Resource Center opened in January 2010. The Komen Affiliate goals are to increase breast health awareness and offer women and families residing in the desert cities a place to gather life-saving information and support.
